Equilo is an advertising platform, not a party to any transaction. By using the platform you automatically accept these terms.
By accessing, browsing, registering, advertising, messaging, donating or otherwise using the Equilo Israel platform in any way, you automatically and unconditionally agree to these Terms of Service, to our Privacy Policy and to our Animal Welfare Rules. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
Equilo is a classified advertising platform. We are not a seller, buyer, breeder, dealer, agent, broker, auctioneer, veterinarian, farrier, trainer, transporter, real estate agent, feed supplier, shelter or escrow service.
Every advertisement, description, photo, price, claim, credential and message is created and controlled solely by the user who published it. Equilo does not own, inspect, examine, test, verify, appraise, insure or take possession of any animal, product, service, property or payment listed on the platform.
All contracts, negotiations, payments, transport, viewings, trials, pre-purchase examinations, deliveries, leases, rentals, donations and after-sale matters are exclusively between the users involved.
The platform and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, title or non-infringement.
Badges such as "verified", "featured", "sponsor" or "registered" indicate administrative steps only. They are not a guarantee of identity, licence, qualification, health, soundness, temperament, pedigree, ownership, legal title, zoning, permits or fitness of any animal, service, property or product.
Equilo does not verify veterinary, dental, osteopathy, farriery, imaging, transport, brokerage, real estate or shelter credentials, nor the legality of any listing. You must carry out your own independent checks, including veterinary examination, licence checks, documentation and legal advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Equilo, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, moderators and partners shall bear no responsibility or liability whatsoever, of any kind, for any loss, damage, injury, illness, death, defect, misrepresentation, fraud, theft, non-payment, non-delivery, dispute, delay, breach of contract, regulatory penalty, veterinary cost, transport incident, property defect, feed contamination, failed breeding or embryo transfer, or any other direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or economic loss arising out of or connected with: (a) any listing, advertisement, message, review or user content; (b) any transaction, agreement, lease, rental, donation, sponsorship or service arranged through or discovered on the platform; (c) any act or omission of any user, sponsor, advertiser, service provider or third party; (d) any reliance on information published on the platform; or (e) any interruption, error, data loss or unavailability of the platform.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you actually paid to Equilo for the specific listing or membership in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₪100, whichever is lower.
You use the platform, contact other users and meet them entirely at your own risk.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Equilo harmless from and against any claim, demand, lawsuit, proceeding, fine, loss, liability, damage, cost or legal fee arising from your use of the platform, your listings or content, your transactions with other users, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law, animal welfare regulation, consumer protection rule, tax obligation or third-party right.
You must be 18 or over, provide accurate information, hold lawful ownership or authorisation for anything you advertise, comply with all Israeli laws including animal welfare, transport, veterinary, breeding, zoning, planning, agricultural and consumer legislation, and hold all required licences and permits.
Prohibited: cruelty, neglect, unlicensed breeding or dealing, illegal wildlife, doping, fake or misleading listings, stolen animals or goods, scams, spam, harassment, discriminatory content, off-platform payment fraud and any attempt to bypass moderation.
Advertising street animals for adoption is free of charge and must never be used to sell animals for profit.
Projects and donation campaigns are published by the organisation itself. Equilo does not collect, hold, audit, guarantee or account for donated funds or goods and accepts no responsibility for how any organisation uses them.
Paid ad plans and veterinarian sponsor memberships run for the stated period (for example 30 days) from approval. Fees are non-refundable once a listing or logo placement is live, including where a listing is removed for breaching these terms.
Equilo may reject, edit, reposition, suspend or remove any listing, logo, sponsorship or account at its sole discretion, without notice and without liability.
You retain ownership of your content and grant Equilo a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize, translate and promote it on the platform and in Equilo marketing. You confirm you hold all rights to any photo, logo or text you upload.
Moderation is discretionary and does not create any duty of care, monitoring obligation or endorsement.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction. Disputes between users must be resolved directly between those users.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
We may amend these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after publication of an amendment constitutes automatic acceptance of the amended terms.
